A Bit About Us

I want to start by saying thanks for being here and learning more about Gherardi Weddings and Events!

It all started with a moderately sized backyard wedding. My sister's friend was getting married and needed a Wedding Coordinator, and my sister recommended me. I had just graduated from college where I had a job in conference planning.  The wedding turned out wonderfully, and that is how the seed of Gherardi Weddings and Events was planted. 

Fast forward a bit, I started reaching out to other Events Planners that I knew, asking them all the questions I could think of about Event Planning. I just wanted to learn more about how to make this my full-time career. As I helped a few friends plan their weddings, and other events, I grew in knowledge of the Event Planning Industry. Then I planned my own wedding, and I learned even more because I had to plan the wedding, then give all the plans to our Day-Of Coordinator to ensure she had all the information I had about the wedding. It was different being on that side of the wedding planning process. 

Now we are here! With almost 10 years of Event Planning experience, we are here for you to answer any Wedding and Event questions you might have :) 

Our goal is to create personalized events that will make your guests feel welcomed and celebrated! We are flexible in our planning style so this means we can come alongside you as you dream about your event and we will help those dreams come to fruition. Don’t have any ideas yet? That’s ok, we can provide simple steps to start making decisions about your big event! We understand that event and wedding planning can be overwhelming, but it’s kind of our thing, so let us help you out!  

We are here to ask good questions so that the little things don’t slip through the cracks. We are also here to think on our feet when something does not go according to plan, to think of a new plan to make sure the party does not stop!!
